Control Center/AV Hub

The Control Center (A503 Mayo) has AV connectivity to each of the other suites in SimPORTAL and has computer and internet capabilities.  The control center acts as the AV hub for collecting, recording, streaming and archiving digital media for educational purposes.  Connectivity exists between the Control Center and the University of Minnesota Medical Center Hospital systems for bi-directional communication with selective operating rooms, the Emergency Department and conference rooms through streaming capabilities.  The Control Center is also the home for the digital media library for educational CD-ROMS, VHS tapes, DVDs and computer simulated programs.

The Control Center is used as the centralized briefing/debriefing room for all of the other suites.
